Dezire began with one shelter dog who changed everything.

Through him, the mission became clear: help the unseen become seen, and help the unheard become heard. Dezire's first origin episode is being created with gratitude, restraint, and care. It is the emotional foundation for the stories still to come.

For animals waiting to be seen
A shelter animal is so much more than an intake photo. Dezire tells the story of who they really are: their resilience, their tenderness, their capacity for love. That's how the right family can find them.
For people whose stories haven't been told
Dezire also shares the stories of people facing homelessness, hardship, or isolation. Every story is told with dignity, consent, and care at every step. Visibility, offered with respect, can help people be seen and supported.
Story Moment
When a story is seen, a life can change.
While studying abroad in New Zealand, Dezire's founder kept crossing paths with Hulk — a dog whose days seemed to pass quietly in the background. He shared Hulk's story with care, hoping the right people might see what he saw.
They did. Within half a day, families were asking how they could help, and Hulk's owner was happy to see him step into a new home.
Today, Hulk's days look different: curled on the couch beside his dad, running by the beach, and playing catch with the children who now call him family.
Hulk's story is a reminder that visibility, when shared with care, can become a bridge from being overlooked to being loved.
